The Lab and the English Language Center Testing Office sponsored a workshop with Dr. Olena Rossi in which she discussed themes related to her and Dr. Tineke Brunfaut’s Language Assessment Quarterly article “Text authenticity in listening assessment: Can item writers be trained to produce authentic-sounding texts?” The workshop, which focused on how to create authentic-sounding L2 listening-test content, was on Fri.
